Mark and Janette Bischoff – OWNERS and DIRECTORS:

Founded the KIDS are MUSIC Studio in 1981. Mark and Janette met at Weber State University while singing their way through college on vocal scholarships. They graduated from WSU with degrees in Political Science, Elementary Education, respectively, with an emphasis in Music. Mark and Janette have been soloists in many productions and perform extensively throughout the community. Janette was awarded the Mayor’s Award for the Arts in Ogden as well as Business Woman of the Year. She is trained and licensed in the Kindermusik curriculum. They are the parents of 5 children and 12 grandchildren. With their love of children and music, this is the perfect thing for them to do. They look forward to many more years serving people in the performing arts community!
Pam Higginson - PRODUCTION Groups

Pam’s experience is wide and varied. Her love is musical theater. Pam has been with our studio for 22 years. She has performed in productions of Utah Musical Theater, Roger’s Memorial Theater, Terrace Plaza Playhouse, Centerpointe Legacy Theatre and Heritage Theater. Pam has served as President of the Ogden Musical Theater Board. With experience in stage, film, and production, Pam brings her expertise to our program in a big way.
Natalie Wigginton – Director: KIDS are MUSIC Children's Choir, MELODY MAKERS, SINGING and DANCING Production Groups, Vocal Coach & Choreographer.

Natalie is a graduate of Weber State University with a Bachelor of Integrated Studies in Music, Education and Spanish. She attended WSU on a vocal scholarship as well as a WSU Ambassador Fellowship. She was selected as to sing in WSU’s prestigious “Concerto Night”. She loves all kinds of singing! To her credits: Winner the State National Association of Teachers of Singing competition and Sterling Scholar for Music. Some of her stage roles include: Kathy in "Singin' in the Rain", Emma in "Jekyl and Hyde", and Gertrude in "Suessical the Musical". In addition to teaching KIDS are MUSIC, MELODY MAKERS and CLASS ACT, Natalie enjoys teaching private lessons. She is the mother of 3 darling children.
Angela Flamm - TINY TONES Instructor:

Angela has always had a love for music and is excited to be teaching our Tiny Tones this year. She has been an accompanist for our choral groups, too! Angela attended Weber State University on a music scholarship, playing violin in their orchestra. She has also played in the Mormon Youth Symphony. Angela has taught piano and violin lessons privately and has accompanied elementary school choirs for over 20 years. Angela has 5 children who have participated in groups at KAM. And she is now the grandmother to 2 grandchildren.
Shae Whitaker – DANCE Instructor and Choreographer - Production Classes: Class Act and Broadway Kids

Shae is an experienced dance teacher who has taught Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop Dance and Tumbling at several dance studios. Shae was the President of the WSU Folk Dance team. She danced with them for 3 years, learning dances from all nationalities around the world. She continues to perform as a guest dancer in their shows. Shae is a student at WSU Majoring in Nursing and Minoring in Dance. She also works in Surgical Services at McKay Dee as a Surgical Tech. Shae absolutely loves working with kids. She loves watching them grow and learn to love dance as much as she does. And they certainly love her, too! Shae has 2 darling little boys, Leo and Jack and a sweet little girl, Lulu!
Bambi Saunders - DANCE Instructor and Choreographer: Pizzazz and Shooting Stars

Bambi Saunders has been involved in the dance industry for over 40 years.
Her love for dance started at a young age where served as Drill Mistress and was recognized at the Dance Sterling Scholar at Weber High School. Bambi has taught dance at many Utah dance studios for 15 years & coached 2 drill teams. She has taught ballet, tap, jazz, drill, hip hop & musical theater. She is a certified dance & drill judge and has judged competitions for 17 years. Bambi is also the proud mother of 4 children ages 8-17. Her children have been a part of the Kids are Music family for 8 years. Bambi is elated to join the KAM staff and we are thrilled she has joined out team!
Danielle Shenefelt – PIANO Accompanist:

Danielle joined the Kids are Music family in 2012 as an accompanist for the Tiny Tones and Kids are Music Concert Choir. She attended WSU receiving her associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. She has been playing the piano for over 25 years, was selected as Sterling Scholar of Music, and has taught privately. Danielle is the mother of 3 children.
Serenity Frear - PIANO Accompanist:

Serenity has been playing the piano for 15 years. She has always had a love for music and she enjoys sharing her talents. Serenity has accompanied choirs at church and at school. She also plays the violin. Serenity just returned from Japan where she served a mission for her church. She graduated from Bonneville High School and plans to continue her education. We welcome Serenity to the KIDS are MUSIC Family!
