About Us
Amplify, formerly named "KIDS are MUSIC," is an established vocal performance studio that provides transformative musical experiences for children and adults through singing, performing and recording. These experiences aim to improve musicality, create meaningful connections and boost overall self-confidence. The previous owners, Mark and Janette Bischoff, provided 43 years of vocal instruction, musical training and performance opportunities for thousands of children along the Wasatch Front. Now, Jake and Amanda Tesch will continue this legacy of musical instruction and excellence in the community—and they are so excited!Amplify’s experienced team fosters a safe, artistic environment so our artists can step out of (or into) their comfort zone and have rich, creative experiences. Live performances, studio-recording and the creation of high-quality music videos give our performers opportunities to develop their individual talents and uplift others through music.Our song selections come from a variety of present and past musical eras and genres with the intention of promoting messages of happiness, friendship, and joy.
Amplify Choirs strive for excellence in their musicianship and performance. This standard of excellence allows us to enjoy the process of creating fun and exciting music together. We look beyond ourselves and recognize that as musicians, our individual and collective preparations will have a great impact on the people and communities we encounter along the way.
Our overall purpose as a choir is to bring more joy and happiness into our own lives and the lives of others.
